Known for his trademark blue bandana and spectacular acrobatics between the pipes, Hrudey remains one of the most beloved figures of the era, famously anchoring the Kings during their historic run to the Stanley Cup Finals alongside Wayne Gretzky. This specific card captures Hrudey in full game action, sporting his iconic vintage goalie gear. The card features a distinct purple border that defines the memorable 1991 Score hockey set, paired with a fully detailed bilingual French and English player bio and stat sheet on the reverse side. This bilingual configuration makes the card a prized asset for Canadian collectors looking to fill out their regional sets or complete player registries. The player bio tracks his milestone performances, including his standout transition from the New York Islanders to Hollywood. A close inspection of this raw specimen reveals great eye appeal overall. The purple borders display standard micro-wear consistent with standard handling, but they retain their vibrant color without major chips. The corners show mild touch wear and tiny softening at the extreme tips, typical for this cardboard stock. The edges are relatively straight with minor factory roughness on the right rim. The centering appears well-balanced on the front with a slight bias toward the top-left, while the reverse side remains clean with sharp text clarity and minimal staining. Grade Estimate: EX-MT 6
