1972-73 O-Pee-Chee WHA Wally Boyer #290 Winnipeg Jets

Description

1972-73 O-Pee-Chee WHA Wally Boyer #290 Winnipeg Jets This 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee WHA Wally Boyer #290 card is a must-have for Winnipeg Jets and World Hockey Association enthusiasts. As part of the elusive high-number WHA series (#290–341), this card is significantly rarer than standard NHL base cards from the same year. Boyer's jump to the WHA was a major story of the time, and this card captures that historic leap with the iconic vertical team name design on the front. The O-Pee-Chee bilingual back provides player statistics and a cartoon in both English and French. This card shows well for a rare high number. Centering on the front leans toward the right border but remains within a presentable range. Corners exhibit light softening, and the edges show typical vintage aging without major chipping. The surface colors are well-preserved, and the card is free of heavy creases or surface damage. The back is exceptionally clean with no signs of being marked by a collector. We provide a conservative raw Grade Estimate: VG-EX 4
