1972-73 O-Pee-Chee Jude Drouin #47 Minnesota North Stars VG-EX 4

Description

1972-73 O-Pee-Chee Jude Drouin #47 Minnesota North Stars VG-EX 4 Round out your Minnesota North Stars collection with this 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee Jude Drouin #47, a colorful and youthful vintage single that showcases one of the North Stars' rising playmakers against the set's striking magenta-pink backdrop. Drouin is pictured in the green-and-white sweater in an authentic on-ice pose, wrapped in the familiar tan border and yellow nameplate that give this Canadian issue its enduring nostalgic character. Jude Drouin was a talented Quebec-born center who broke through with a big rookie campaign after arriving in Minnesota, quickly establishing himself as a slick passer and reliable middle-of-the-ice contributor for the early-seventies North Stars before going on to further success later in his career. For team collectors and set builders, Drouin represents exactly the kind of skilled, likable expansion-era name that makes assembling the 1972-73 OPC North Stars run so enjoyable. This card is a genuine Canadian O-Pee-Chee bilingual back, presenting the biography and full NHL statistics in both English and French alongside the classic OPC cartoon, the detail that distinguishes the scarcer O-Pee-Chee printing from the American Topps version and appeals strongly to Canadian collectors. this copy presents with light-to-moderate corner rounding across all four corners, some minor edge chipping visible where the tan border meets the card stock, and centering that runs slightly off on the front, all traits commonly seen throughout this set. The vivid magenta background retains good color and gloss, and while the card shows honest handling wear, there are no heavy creases breaking through Drouin's image. The bilingual reverse carries typical age toning and a few small edge nicks but remains crisp and fully legible. Weighing the softened corners, light border chipping, and slightly imperfect centering, a conservative raw grade estimate places this attractive single in the Very Good to Excellent tier, a transparent and cautious call designed to protect the buyer and mirror exactly what the scans show. Whether you are completing the 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee set, building a Minnesota North Stars team collection, or simply enjoy the vivid color and expansion-era history of this beloved issue, this Jude Drouin delivers strong eye appeal and value at a fair price. It ships carefully protected in a penny sleeve and top loader, ready for your binder, your display case, or an eventual grading submission. Grade Estimate: VG-EX 4
