Jacques Plante remains an immortal titan of the sport, celebrated not only for his astonishing seven Vezina Trophies and six Stanley Cup championships but also as the revolutionary pioneer who popularized the protective goalie mask in the NHL. This beautifully preserved card captures the Hall of Fame goalkeeper in his classic home white, blue, and leaf-crested uniform, presenting an evocative visual tribute to an absolute legend of the ice.

The reverse of the card features the highly sought-after O-Pee-Chee bilingual layout, detailing Plante's spectacular career statistics and historical achievements in both English and French, a hallmark characteristic that sets Canadian OPC releases apart from their American Topps counterparts. Our precise Condition Report reveals that the front display exhibits excellent color retention and strong registration, with the classic yellow borders maintaining their retro pop. The edges remain remarkably straight for a raw card of this era, showing minimal chipping along the borders. The corners show mild softening and slight fuzzy wear consistent with mid-grade vintage status, but they are entirely free from major blunt impacts or heavy layering. The centering is shifted slightly towards the right side on the front and similarly shows typical vintage alignment on the back. There are no heavy surface wrinkles or hidden pinholes, making it an excellent candidate for a mid-grade raw binder collection or a personal submission to a grading service.
