1972-73 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Checklist #190 Unmarked 2nd Series (VG-EX 4)

Complete your vintage set with this 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee Checklist #190. This card serves the second series of one of the most significant sets in hockey history, documenting a checklist that includes icons from the 1972 Summit Series and legendary HOFers like Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito. While many collectors focus on the stars, these checklists are the glue that holds a master set together. Finding an unmarked example—one that escaped the pens and pencils of 1970s hockey fans—is always a highlight for a collector, even with vintage wear.

As a classic O-Pee-Chee release from London, Ontario, this card features the iconic bilingual back. The 1972-73 design is celebrated for its clean lines and the inclusion of the newly formed WHA teams, making it a true time capsule of professional hockey's expansion era. This specific card is the standard #190 back, providing the proper documentation for the middle chunk of this massive 341-card set. It is an affordable entry point for a collector looking to add authentic 1970s O-Pee-Chee history to their binders.

Condition Report:
This card is technically "unmarked," which is a huge plus for checklists of this era. However, it does feature a visible surface crease that affects the overall technical grade. The edges show the traditional O-Pee-Chee rough cut with some minor chipping, and the corners show moderate rounding consistent with a mid-grade vintage card. Centering is fairly standard for the 1972-73 series. The bilingual back is clean of ink, but the crease is evident from the reverse side as well. Because of the crease, we estimate this card at a VG-EX 4.
