Card #267 sits in the O-Pee-Chee exclusive high number series that was never released by Topps, so this Canadian issue is the only 1972-73 mainstream card of Nevin as a North Star. The front shows a tight portrait of Nevin in the white Minnesota jersey against the bold red background, with the black vertical team lettering, yellow nameplate, and green N logo completing the signature look of the set. Bob Nevin debuted with the Toronto Maple Leafs and was a key contributor on the 1962 and 1963 Stanley Cup championship teams before being sent to New York in the blockbuster 1964 trade that brought Andy Bathgate to Toronto. He captained the Rangers from 1965 to 1971, then joined Minnesota in 1971 where he continued to produce at a strong pace, scoring 20 goals in 1972-73.
