This card tells the fascinating story of a global athlete: Moro was born in Udine, Italy, excelled in American college football at the University of Dayton, and was selected in the 14th round of the NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. Instead of heading to the US capital, he brought his talents to Canada, embarking on his second standout season as a Tight End for the historic Toronto Argonauts (popularly known as the Scullers). This card is a wonderful relic of the era when talent flowed dynamically between leagues. The card's back is printed with the iconic O-Pee-Chee bilingual text, sharing his interesting background in both English and French. Featuring a wonderful full-length action shot on the front framed by the classic 1971 red borders, this piece is an excellent addition for collectors hunting down high-quality team sets. This card presents beautifully with great eye appeal. The deep red borders are exceptionally clean with only microscopic touches of edge wear visible upon close inspection. The corners are quite sharp, exhibiting only nominal softening at the tips. The centering leans slightly toward the upper-right corner but remains very well-proportioned overall. The gloss is bright, and the card stock remains stiff, flat, and completely uncreased. Grade Estimate: EX-MT 6
