Description

1971 O-Pee-Chee CFL Angelo Mosca #69 Hall of Fame Hamilton Tiger-Cats (EX 5) Secure a piece of Canadian gridiron history with this highly sought-after 1971 O-Pee-Chee CFL Angelo Mosca card #69. This piece is a must-have anchor for any serious vintage CFL collection. The front shows a striking portrait of the legendary defensive tackle in his classic black and gold Hamilton Tiger-Cats uniform, framed by the distinctive red borders unique to the iconic 1971 set. On the back, you will find the classic O-Pee-Chee bilingual formatting featuring a comic illustration highlighting that Angelo "Big Nasty" Mosca "is a wrestler in the off-season". Mosca remains one of the most feared and celebrated figures in the history of the Canadian Football League. A five-time Grey Cup champion and a proud member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, his fierce style of play defined an era of pro football. This card beautifully celebrates his legacy just as his professional wrestling career with the NWA and WWF was expanding across North America. This card is presented in a strong raw technical state, earning an estimated grade of Excellent (EX 5). The front shows brilliant original color and high gloss with no heavy creases or surface wrinkles. The red card stock borders remain rich and lively. The four corners exhibit light, balanced touch wear consistent with careful vintage storage. The top and bottom edges are crisp, while the left and right edges show minor factory rough cuts typical of O-Pee-Chee stock. The centering on the front is quite well-balanced for this notoriously off-center issue, leaning slightly to the right side border. The bilingual back remains exceptionally clean and vibrant, free of any ink marks or major paper loss. Grade Estimate: EX 5
