Jude Drouin was a central figure for the Minnesota North Stars during this era. Known for his incredible playmaking ability, Drouin set a then-rookie record with 52 assists in his first full season (1970-71) and was the runner-up for the Calder Trophy. Over his career, he became a consistent 20-goal scorer for both the North Stars and the New York Islanders.
This specific booklet is the O-Pee-Chee bilingual version, featuring text in both English and French—a classic hallmark of Canadian-manufactured hockey collectibles. Whether you are completing your 1971-72 OPC master set or you're a die-hard North Stars fan, this vintage booklet is a fantastic addition to any collection.
Condition Report
- Corners: Show light-to-moderate softening and minor wear consistent with an un-slabbed vintage insert.
- Edges: Relatively clean for the age, with minor white-border chipping typical of the O-Pee-Chee card stock.
- Centering: Appears slightly shifted toward the top-right on the front.
- Surface: The colors remain vibrant. There is a very small brown speck near the top-left corner on the front, but the overall presentation is excellent.
Grade Estimate
- EX 5 (Excellent)
While the colors are bright, the corner softening and the minor surface speck on the front keep it from a "Mint" designation.
