This piece serves as an excellent hook for vintage hockey card collectors looking to secure foundational pieces of the early Vancouver franchise. Drafted third overall in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft after an explosive junior career with the Montreal Junior Canadiens, Guevremont immediately established himself as an elite, offensive-minded defenseman for the Canucks. This card captures the beginning of a memorable NHL career that spanned over 500 games and showcased his powerful point shot and excellent vision. The reverse side features a beautifully preserved, classic O-Pee-Chee design containing detailed biographical information and his stellar junior statistics. It also includes the iconic O-Pee-Chee bilingual back, offering text in both English and French to cater to the Canadian market. A detailed of this raw vintage card reveals strong centering on the reverse side, showing an even alignment that is tough to find for this condition-sensitive series.
