1970 O-Pee-Chee Ron Lancaster #76 CFL Hall of Famer Saskatchewan Roughriders EX-4

Description

1970 O-Pee-Chee Ron Lancaster #76 CFL Hall of Famer Saskatchewan Roughriders Own a piece of Canadian football immortality with this 1970 O-Pee-Chee Ron Lancaster #76, a Saskatchewan Roughriders card of one of the greatest quarterbacks the CFL has ever produced. Ron Lancaster, affectionately known as the Little General, is a bona fide CFL and Canadian Football Hall of Fame legend who quarterbacked the Saskatchewan Roughriders to the 1966 Grey Cup championship and spent two decades carving his name into the record books. As card number 76 in the 115-card 1970 O-Pee-Chee CFL set, this example sits at the very top of the Roughriders team run and is the kind of card every serious collector seeks when building a Saskatchewan set. The 1970 O-Pee-Chee issue is treasured by Canadian collectors for its authentic bilingual backs, printing English and French text on every reverse so the game's legends could be appreciated from Newfoundland to British Columbia. The front of this card presents Lancaster in the iconic white and green Saskatchewan uniform with a crisp quarterback portrait and bold team branding, while the reverse tells the story of one of football's most beloved field generals in both of Canada's official languages. The scan shows a card with no visible creases and generally good centering, but because I could not visually inspect the physical card for exact corner wear, edge chipping, and centering, the grade below is a conservative estimate; the light corner and edge wear common to a 1970 O-Pee-Chee issue should be verified in hand. It is a true Canadian O-Pee-Chee bilingual back rather than a puzzle back. For collectors of Roughriders greats and CFL Hall of Famers alike, this Ron Lancaster card is an essential, highly collectible addition that only grows more meaningful as the Little General's legend endures. Grade Estimate: EX-4
