1970 O-Pee-Chee Larry DeGraw #73 Saskatchewan Roughriders

Description

1970 O-Pee-Chee Larry DeGraw #73 Saskatchewan Roughriders This 1970 O-Pee-Chee Larry DeGraw #73 brings the hard-nosed era of Canadian three-down football straight to your collection, straight from a Saskatchewan Roughriders sheet that has spent decades carefully protected in a card sleeve. Larry DeGraw was a dependable defensive halfback for the green and white during the late 1960s into the early 1970s, an era when the Roughriders were perennial Grey Cup contenders and the CFL showcased some of the most physical defensive backs in the game. O-Pee-Chee produced the Canadian Football League set in 1970 as a bilingual tribute to the sport, printing every card with both English and French text on the reverse so that collectors from every province could enjoy the same legends. This card is number 73 in the 115-card 1970 O-Pee-Chee CFL set, and it pairs beautifully with the other Roughriders in your want list. The front displays DeGraw in the traditional white and green Saskatchewan uniform with a clean, classic portrait and the familiar bold red and white team name block, while the reverse presents his playing biography alongside a French translation, which is exactly what makes these Canadian prints so special to vintage football collectors. Based on a conservative read of the scan, this ungraded card shows no visible creases and presents with generally decent centering, though, as with most 1970 O-Pee-Chee stock, there may be light corner and edge wear typical of its age that should be confirmed in hand; because I could not visually inspect the original for exact corner wear, edge chipping, or centering, the grade below is a cautious estimate. It is a true Canadian O-Pee-Chee bilingual back rather than a puzzle back. For a vintage Canadian football card over half a century old, this Larry DeGraw example represents an affordable, honest piece of Roughriders history that sits comfortably alongside Hall of Fame teammates in any team run. Grade Estimate: EX 5
