1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Vic Hadfield #38 Variant Bilingual New York Rangers

Description

1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Vic Hadfield #38 Variant Bilingual New York Rangers This is a second, independent copy of the 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Vic Hadfield card number thirty-eight, offering a duplicate opportunity to acquire a core piece of the iconic New York Rangers Goal-A-Game line roster. Hadfield was a fan favorite whose combination of rugged enforcement and elite goal scoring helped propel the Rangers into multiple Stanley Cup playoff runs throughout his storied career. This card features the bilingual Canadian back with historical details presented in both national languages. Assessing this specific specimen, the centering is drastically shifted toward the top-left corner, sitting at roughly 85/15 top-to-bottom and 70/30 left-to-right, which cuts close to the design borders. The corners show slightly more wear than the previous position, with noticeable fiber breakdown and rounding on the upper-right corner. The edges have a rougher cut line on the right side, which is standard for O-Pee-Chee production from this particular year. The back remains bright and fully readable, showing consistent yellow color without any fading or ink staining. Due to the pronounced factory off-centering and structural corner softening, a downgrade adjustment places this card into a conservative Very Good condition category, creating an affordable vintage option for budget-conscious set builders.
