1969-70 Topps Leon Rochefort #105 Vintage Los Angeles Kings Wing US Print

Description

1969-70 Topps Leon Rochefort #105 Vintage Los Angeles Kings Wing US Print Acquire a classic piece of American hobby history with this authentic 1969-70 Topps Leon Rochefort #105 vintage hockey card. Printed specifically for the United States market, this Topps edition offers a distinct collecting contrast to its Canadian O-Pee-Chee counterpart. Rochefort was a premier NHL journeyman who brought incredible stability, veteran leadership, and reliable defensive plays to the young Los Angeles Kings roster during the league's formative post-expansion years. Leon Rochefort carved out a highly respected professional hockey career, famously winning the Stanley Cup with the powerhouse Montreal Canadiens before expanding his impact across several expansion clubs, including the Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, and Atlanta Flames. Dressed in the iconic purple and gold Los Angeles uniform, this card captures the unpolished grit of 1960s sports photography. It is an excellent individual piece for team historians and master-set collectors who value tracking down regional print variations. The back of this card showcases the clean, traditional 1969-70 Topps layout. Unlike the Canadian O-Pee-Chee version, the text on this card is printed exclusively in English, identifying it as the domestic US distribution run with "Printed in U. S. A." on the side border. The card back highlights Rochefort's extensive travels through professional hockey, celebrating his status as a reliable hockey veteran who had already skated for 8 teams in 10 years, complete with a classic retro cartoon celebrating his booming slap shot.
