SOLD 1969-70 Topps Ken Hodge #27 Boston Bruins (EX)

Description

1969-70 Topps Ken Hodge #27 Boston Bruins (EX) This 1969-70 Topps Ken Hodge #27 brings a genuine offensive star of the Big Bad Bruins into your collection, and it presents cleanly with strong eye appeal. Big, strong, and willing to muscle his way to the net, Hodge was the powerful winger who combined size with real scoring touch — a perfect complement on a line with Boston's elite talent, and this card catches him right as he was blossoming into an NHL force. Ken Hodge's achievements are top-tier. He was a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Boston Bruins in 1970 and 1972, a two-time NHL Second Team All-Star, and a two-time 100-point scorer who ranked among the league's most productive wingers in the early 1970s. Playing alongside superstar linemates, Hodge repeatedly posted elite goal and point totals, cementing his place as a cornerstone of one of hockey's greatest dynasties. His cards are among the more desirable in any Bruins-focused vintage collection. This is an authentic Topps card printed in the U. S. A., with the English-only blue Topps back — including the classic "Place Stamp Here" mail-in element — distinguishing it from the bilingual Canadian O-Pee-Chee release. A clean, well-presenting copy. Centering is solid. Corners are relatively sharp for the era with only light touch wear and minor whitening. Edges are clean with minimal chipping. The surface is bright and glossy with strong color and no creases or wrinkles detected in the scan. The blue Topps back is crisp and bright with no writing. Grade Estimate: EX 5
