During the 1969-70 season captured by this card, Goyette had a career year with the St. Louis Blues, scoring 78 points and winning the prestigious Lady Byng Trophy for his gentlemanly conduct and high standard of play. He was later selected as the very first head coach in New York Islanders history. This card is a highly presentable mid-grade vintage item. The corners show modest rounding and wear appropriate for its vintage age. Edges show small touches but remain completely free from major dents or tears. The centering on the front favors the right margin. The reverse side holds the traditional O-Pee-Chee bilingual back, which remains clean with strong colors, entirely free of pen or pencil markings and surface scuffs. Grade Estimate: VG-EX 4
