Description

1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Noel Picard #175 St. Louis Blues Raw (EX) Celebrate the rugged defensive history of the St. Louis Blues with this classic 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee card of defenseman Noel Picard. Picard was an absolute cornerstone of the early expansion Blues teams, helping lead them to three consecutive Stanley Cup Finals appearances with his intimidating physical presence on the blue line. He remains immortalized in hockey lore as the player who tripped Bobby Orr during the iconic 1970 flying goal photograph. This card sports the traditional Canadian O-Pee-Chee bilingual back detailing his accomplishments for fans nationwide, properly identified as card number 175. A close look at our shows that this card presents very well with strong visual appeal. The centering tilts slightly toward the left side margin but remains within acceptable parameters for vintage releases. The corners display minor wear with soft tips from decades of handling while the edges exhibit light factory paper fuzz. The surface is exceptionally bright with the bright blue backdrop showing strong color density and minimal print spotting. Our conservative Grade Estimate: EX 5
