1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Leon Rochefort #105 Vintage Los Angeles Kings Wing Variation Enhance your master set with this 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Leon Rochefort #105 vintage hockey card. This specific card represents an interesting variation, featuring a slightly different front border printing alignment compared to other examples from the same series. Rochefort was widely regarded as a model of consistency and hard work, traits that allowed him to sustain a long, successful career during one of the NHL's most competitive eras. Leon Rochefort was highly valued by coaches for his defensive awareness and ability to play physical hockey in all three zones. After winning championships in Montreal, he brought his winning pedigree to the West Coast to help anchor the young Los Angeles Kings. This card features a crisp, close-up portrait of Rochefort, capturing the raw, unpolished look of vintage 1969 sports photography before the advent of glossy modern card stocks. The back of the card utilizes the standard O-Pee-Chee bilingual back format, providing detailed career insights and seasonal statistics in both English and French. The biography notes his incredible journey across professional hockey leagues, reinforcing his reputation as a dependable utility forward. The vintage blue and yellow background graphics remain bold, offering excellent display value for collectors who appreciate the back artwork as much as the front portrait. This card is in heavily used condition, showing signs of significant circulation. The centering is shifted upward on the front face. All four corners are heavily rounded, blunt, and show structural softness. The edges show consistent chipping and minor tracking lines from old storage rubber bands. The surfaces display considerable vintage patina, light background staining, and a few minor soft creases across the face. Grade Estimate: GOOD
