1969-70 O-Pee-Chee
Danny Grant #208 Calder Trophy Minnesota North Stars (EX 5)
Celebrate the early career of a Minnesota legend with this 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Danny Grant card. Fresh off winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's Rookie of the Year for the 1968-69 season, Grant's performance was nothing short of spectacular, netting 34 goals and 65 points. He remains one of the few players to win a Stanley Cup (1968 with Montreal) the season before winning the Calder Trophy. This card is a staple of the Minnesota North Stars' early franchise history and a beautiful example of the 1969-70 OPC set's unique aesthetic.
Condition Report: These cards generally present in Excellent (EX) condition. Corners are relatively sharp with only minor touches of wear. The centering on these Danny Grant cards is remarkably strong for the 1969 OPC set, which is notoriously difficult to find well-centered. The O-Pee-Chee bilingual backs are clean, showing the characteristic "Printed in Canada" text. No significant wrinkles or creases are visible in the photos. Estimated grade: EX 5.
