This piece represents a high-water mark for mid-century pulp illustration, meticulously crafted by master artist Norman Saunders and penciler Bob Powell. The dramatic action panel captures the campy charm and vibrant energy of the iconic 1966 television show starring Adam West. This example is the scarce Canadian variant produced by O-Pee-Chee, featuring a raw cardboard composition and a brilliant orange back layout. The reverse side provides a captivating text description of Batman blundering into a photo-electric beam trap set by Catwoman.
