1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Camille Henry #17 St. Louis Blues Calder Winner (VG-EX 4)
Acquire a card of one of the most prolific goal scorers of the fifties and sixties with this 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Camille Henry #17 St. Louis Blues card. Known across the league for his deadly accurate shot and elite offensive positioning, Henry's addition to the late-sixties Blues brought incredible veteran pedigree to the expansion franchise. This original 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee hockey card showcases the classic vintage design with rich team colors. It represents an excellent opportunity for collectors trying to build out a clean, uniform set from this legendary sports card release year. Camille Henry, nicknamed "The Eel" for his uncanny ability to slip past opposing defensemen, was a phenomenal scorer primarily celebrated for his tenure with the New York Rangers, where he won the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year in 1954 and later the Lady Byng. This card features him at the conclusion of his stellar career, lending his championship-caliber talent to the rising St. Louis Blues. This specimen shows very nice overall eye appeal. Corners exhibit softening from age but remain intact. The borders are clean with standard edge rough-cuts. The front portrait is well-aligned with standard centering shifts typical of 1969 OPC production. Turning the card over reveals the O-Pee-Chee bilingual back, showing fantastic color contrast, clean text blocks, and zero traces of ink marks or paper creases.
