Description

1971-72 O-Pee-Chee Jude Drouin #68 Minnesota North Stars (EX 5) Add a fantastic piece of early 1970s NHL memorabilia to your collection with this 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee Jude Drouin #68 card. This high-grade vintage collectible represents one of the core offensive pieces of the Minnesota North Stars during their early post-expansion years. Jude Drouin was a highly skilled playmaker who exploded onto the scene in Minnesota, recording a spectacular 68 points during the 1970-71 campaign. This card perfectly captures Drouin in full vintage hockey gear within the stylized oval design that makes the 71-72 OPC set an absolute fan favorite. On the reverse side, you will find the signature O-Pee-Chee bilingual player narrative written in both English and French, alongside a detailed look at his NHL and minor league statistical record. It also includes a charming cartoon vignette highlighting that Jude has twin sisters who play hockey. Finding these cards with clean surfaces and intact paper stock is becoming increasingly rare, making this a great value buy for serious set builders. The corners exhibit modest touches of softness consistent with light handling over the years, though they avoid major rounding. The edges show standard vintage factory cuts with light micro-chipping on the dark borders. Front centering sits reasonably well, with a mild shift towards the bottom edge. The card surface shows magnificent registration with no major print defects, and the green reverse profile is beautifully preserved without ink marks or creases. Grade Estimate: EX 5
