1971 O-Pee-Chee Ed Harrington #4 Toronto Argonauts (EX 5)

Description

1971 O-Pee-Chee Ed Harrington #4 Toronto Argonauts (EX 5) Celebrate a true Toronto gridiron icon with this 1971 O-Pee-Chee Ed Harrington #4 card! Nicknamed "Hercules" for his extraordinary physical strength and immovable presence on the defensive line, Ed Harrington was an absolute cornerstone for the Toronto Argonauts. This card marks his seventh spectacular season with the Double Blue, reminding collectors of his dominant back-to-back All-Canadian selections in 1968 and 1969. Harrington’s role as a defensive end helped define the tough, uncompromising identity of the Argonauts' defensive front throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s. This original Canadian vintage release includes the traditional O-Pee-Chee bilingual text on the back, offering a nostalgic look at his 245-pound frame and his collegiate roots at Langston University in both official languages. The striking red-bordered front design presents a powerful portrait of Harrington, capturing the true spirit of vintage pro football in Canada. This Ed Harrington card shows standard signs of careful handling over the decades. The red borders display minor edge wear and standard light chipping, which is typical for these sensitive colored stocks. The corners show moderate, uniform rounding with minor white card stock showing. The centering is pushed slightly toward the bottom border but maintains an attractive presentation. The card surface is completely free of any major flaws such as heavy ink stains, pinholes, or card stock wrinkling. Grade Estimate: EX 5
