Walton, affectionately nicknamed "Shaky," was an incredibly talented and versatile forward who brought immense speed and offensive spark to every lineup he joined. This card displays a gorgeous front image showing him in the iconic light-blue style jersey, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious set builders who want elite front-facing eye appeal without paying full price for a flawless back. Turning the card over reveals the standard O-Pee-Chee bilingual back packed with statistics, text biographies, and a charming cartoon regarding his nickname. Please note that there is a distinct area of paper loss on the back of Mike Walton which affects a small section of the bio box. Despite this back imperfection, the card remains an important historical single documenting a player who achieved the rare feat of winning a Stanley Cup with the Toronto Maple Leafs before moving on to find success with the Boston Bruins. The front of this card is an absolute stunner, featuring wonderful registration, vibrant blues and reds, and fantastic centering. The edges are remarkably smooth and the corners show modest touch wear. However, the grade is directly capped by the back condition, which shows a prominent strip of paper loss running horizontally through the top-middle text area. There are no creases, wrinkles, or pinholes present on the cardboard. If you display your cards face-up in a binder or a custom frame, this item offers top-tier presentation value at an affordable rate. Grade Estimate: VG 3 (Due to back paper loss)
