1973-74 O-Pee-Chee Dunc Wilson #257 Dark Back Variant Toronto Maple Leafs (EX)

Uncover a rare manufacturing anomaly with this 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee Dunc Wilson #257 Dark Back Variant. This specific piece was printed on the scarcer dark gray cardstock on the reverse side, creating a highly collectible master-set variation that stands out from the standard light-back versions.

Dunc Wilson's tenure with the Toronto Maple Leafs is perfectly documented in this condition-sensitive green-bordered series. Finding these dark-back variations in respectable raw condition is a fun challenge for vintage collectors. The bilingual English and French details on the dark reverse side remain fully legible and provide great historical context on Wilson's goaltending journey.

Condition Report: This card grades in Excellent (EX) condition. The front face maintains excellent color and minimal surface markings. The corners show minor wear but maintain decent points. Edges display light chipping, which is extremely common for O-Pee-Chee cards from this era due to the wire-cut method. Centering is pushed toward the bottom border.
