Les Binkley was a pioneer for professional hockey in Pittsburgh, jumping from the minors to the NHL during the 1967 expansion and instantly winning the hearts of fans. Known for his resilience and spectacular glove saves, Binkley was the defensive backbone of the early Penguins squads, even playing while wearing contact lenses—a true rarity for goaltenders of that era. This card preserves his early legacy beautifully, complete with the wonderful Canadian O-Pee-Chee bilingual back and collectible cartoon trivia section.

Condition Report:
This card has been carefully reviewed and exhibits standard handling wear from decades in a private collection. The centering on the front remains remarkably strong for this tough vintage issue, sitting square within the borders. The corners show noticeable softening and rounding at the tips. Close inspection reveals a light surface crease tracking across the card face, which also transfers through to the dark teal-blue bilingual reverse. The borders have minor edge chipping, but the piece remains completely intact with vibrant ink quality and no paper loss or ink marks.
