1970 O-Pee-Chee Ted Collins #72 Winnipeg Blue Bombers G-VG 3 Miscut
$5.00
Add a fascinating factory anomaly to your collection with this unusual 1970 O-Pee-Chee Ted Collins #72 Winnipeg Blue Bombers G-VG 3 Miscut card, a genuine production miscut that showcases the human element of vintage card manufacturing while still celebrating one of Winnipegs most respected Canadian tackles. The front and back reveal a clear factory miscut with extra material left along one vertical side, correctly cut and straight along the bottom portion but showing a noticeable excess border and uneven factory edge for most of the length of the side where the sheet was not trimmed to the standard white border, resulting in an asymmetrical white border that measures far wider than normal and gives the card an irregular rectangular outline, centering therefore cannot be measured in the usual way due to the extra stock, corners along the correctly cut portion show light softening with minor whitening while the miscut edge shows a rough factory cut rather than handling chipping, surface gloss is intact with no creases, wrinkles or collector induced creasing, and the back shows the same excess material on the corresponding black stock edge with the green TED PREFERS THE DEFENSIVE cartoon fully intact and bilingual text fully legible, warranting a conservative Good to Very Good 3 Miscut grade that accurately reflects a factory error rather than circulation wear. Raw Grade Estimate: VG 3.
