Description

1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Bob Wall #140 Los Angeles Kings Raw (VG) Step back into the golden expansion era of the National Hockey League with this outstanding vintage cardboard release from Alex Collect. This card features defensive specialist Bob Wall during his memorable tenure anchoring the early blue line of the Los Angeles Kings. As the first-ever captain of the Kings franchise, Wall holds a legendary place in Southern California hockey history, bringing vital leadership and stability to the young expansion squad. The classic 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee design stands out with its vibrant color palette, beautiful minimalist framing, and distinct bilingual text format. This particular card showcases the beloved Canadian O-Pee-Chee bilingual back which provides career summaries in both English and French to serve hockey enthusiasts across Canada. Our notes that this raw card presents excellently for its age. The centering is weighted slightly toward the top and right borders but holds its visual balance very well. The corners are mostly square with soft touches of fuzziness visible under close examination while the edges show minor chipping typical of the rough-cut O-Pee-Chee manufacturing process of the era. The yellow text background remains incredibly bright, free from severe surface staining or distracting print defects. We provide a conservative Grade Estimate: VG
