1971 O-Pee-Chee The Partridge Family #44 Introducing the Act Series 1

Description

1971 O-Pee-Chee The Partridge Family #44 Introducing the Act Series 1 Complete your vintage non-sport collection with this historic 1971 O-Pee-Chee The Partridge Family trading card. Card number 44 is titled Introducing the Act and captures a fantastic onstage moment featuring Shirley Jones under the performance lights. This card embodies the exciting show business premise of the series, where a suburban family jumps onto a renovated bus to perform their catchy pop music for packed venues across America. The show became an absolute licensing powerhouse, making these original cardboard singles a wonderful piece of television history. This specimen features the highly prized Canadian O-Pee-Chee printing, which is significantly scarcer than standard American releases due to Canada's smaller population and shorter distribution windows. The reverse side features a premium section of Puzzle Number 2, adding excellent value for collectors working to build a complete puzzle set. The front image exhibits bright colors and wonderful clarity throughout the central frame. The centering is shifted toward the top border, resulting in an asymmetrical yellow frame that is typical for this vintage run. The corners are quite clean with only minor softening at the tips, maintaining a strong square appearance. The edges show very light paper fuzzing but remain free of major notches or dents. The back puzzle panel is excellently preserved with clean lines, crisp typography, and an immaculate surface free of any heavy wax build-up. Grade Estimate: EX 5
