Description

1971 O-Pee-Chee The Partridge Family #33 Baseball or Music? Series 1 Immerse yourself in seventies nostalgia with this vintage 1971 O-Pee-Chee The Partridge Family single trading card. Card number 33 is titled Baseball or Music? and highlights the beloved family dynamics of the hit musical sitcom. The front artwork captures Shirley Jones in a classic domestic scene consulting her onscreen children about their conflicting passions, perfectly embodying the show's wholesome themes of balancing normal childhood with sudden pop stardom. Shirley Jones brought immediate Hollywood prestige to the production as an Academy Award-winning actress, lending depth to the series as it dominated Friday night television ratings alongside The Brady Bunch. Canadian O-Pee-Chee editions are deeply cherished by collectors for their limited distribution across Canada, making them much harder to locate today than standard US Topps variants. The reverse side features a critical section of Puzzle Number 1, adding excellent interactive value for collectors aiming to piece together the complete master image. The front of this card displays wonderful color contrast against the bold yellow background frame. Centering is reasonably well-aligned left-to-right but shows a conventional shift toward the top margin. The corners show mild rounding and modest wear from placement in storage over the years. The edges are remarkably straight with only trace amounts of microscopic paper chipping. Flipping to the back puzzle panel reveals a very tidy surface, demonstrating light natural aging of the stock but escaping the dark gum stains or ink marks that frequently degrade cards from this era.
